Fran is three-time BAFTA nominated engineering/science presenter, consultant and pyrotechnician, specialising in science demonstrations for both the stage and screen.
With twelve years of experience in informal STEM education, she’s worked on more than 20 science television series, has successfully produced hundreds of science stage shows/events an contributed to 13 science books and kits.

Speaker – Adam Smith
Adam is a Documentary Filmmaker.
He directed the award winning documentary SPACE QUEENS which was filmed and released in the 50th anniversary year of the moon landing.
It included never been seen interviews with women working at NASA and Virgin Galactic.
What began as a small documentary in July 2019 is now a global mission to connect young girls everywhere with women in aerospace.

Education, Outreach and Bicentenary Officer – Royal Astronomical Society
Executive Director – The Mars Society

Lucinda has been with the Mars Society for 20 years and the Executive Director for 10 years.
She is an ESERO UK Space Champion in support of ESA astronaut Tim Peake.
She is Chair for the National Astronomy Week in the UK – Encounter Mars – 14th-22nd November 2020.

Speaker – Stephen Salmon
Steve joined the British Interplanetary Society in 1977, was elected to Fellow in January 1987 and now serves on the BIS Council.

Passionate about outreach and STEM activities, to encourage
the next generation of scientists, aerospace engineers etc.

Steve considers it a privilege to be a BIS Member & even more so, to be a Fellow of the Society.  He’s very engaged with ‘building bridges’ between the Space professional world & the general public, recognising the great importance of Space awareness for everyone, both in the UK and abroad.

Herb recently retired from NASA after 42 years at JSC, KSC & NASA Headquarters having worked in the Space Shuttle, Space Station & Orion program offices and managing the business office supporting Flight Operations.

He is currently on the Board of Directors for the JSC NASA Alumni League and volunteers at Space Center Houston.

She is one of Britain’s leading experts in human spaceflight.
A regular spokesperson for the UK Space Agency on matters relating to human spaceflight and exploration.  Libby has been a guest on various TV & radio programmes, including Stargazing Live, Astronauts: Do you Have What it Takes?, Blue Peter and many more.
Author of A Galaxy of Her Own and the upcoming – Space Explorers: 25 extraordinary stories of space exploration and adventure.

Blake is an ISS Stowage Engineer.
He is responsible for tracking the locations of all hardware related to US science experiments aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

Blake is part of a Control Room group that regularly communicates with the International Space Station.
