Steve joined the British Interplanetary Society in 1977, was elected to Fellow in January 1987 and now serves on the BIS Council.

Passionate about outreach and STEM activities, to encourage
the next generation of scientists, aerospace engineers etc.

Steve considers it a privilege to be a BIS Member & even more so, to be a Fellow of the Society.  He’s very engaged with ‘building bridges’ between the Space professional world & the general public, recognising the great importance of Space awareness for everyone, both in the UK and abroad.

The 10 Minute Star Striking Facts series is an engaging online outreach project to inspire all.
On Monday each week, we will feature a different speaker with a fact of their choice.
