Ruth is an inventor, presenter and co-founder of YouTube channel Kids Invent Stuff, aimed at inspiring the next generation of inventors and engineers, by bringing their inventions to life.  From custard firing superhero suits, flaming pianos and Slime firing cars Shawn and Ruth bring to life kid’s inventions with often hilarious results.

An award winning engineer and is passionate about making and STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Maths), co-running the #girlswithdrills campaign around inclusive making.

Speaker – Steve Sherman
Steve is the Chief Imagination Officer of a STEAM-based NGO in South Africa called Living Maths.
He teaches approximately 4500 students weekly in schools around Cape Town as well as the world.
Steve is passionate about sharing knowledge and empowering young people.
He knows his way around EDtech as he regularly facilitates workshops for teachers and conducts Skype and Google Hangout Interviews with participants from all over the world.
He has taught in over 200 different classrooms around the world using the internet.
Steve is a 2 x TEDx Speaker, a Microsoft Innovator Educator Expert, a recipient of the 2020 Global Teacher Award and one of only 2 Skype Master Teachers in South Africa.

Speaker – Alex Lennon
Alex Lennon, MA (Cantab), MIOD, MIET, Director, Dynamic Devices Ltd – an experienced embedded systems engineer with a deep knowledge and wide experience of both software development and project management.
He has provided cutting edge hardware and software design solutions to industry within the United States and EMEA, successfully bringing a wide range of embedded and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) products to market.
His technical expertise includes the architectural design and development of embedded systems, deployment of large scale assured data delivery systems and the creation of low power, high reliability IIoT sensor devices.  Currently Dynamic Devices is providing IIoT solutions in the Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) space, including Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) with Vodafone & the roll-out of LoRaWAN with The Things Network in the North West of the UK.

Alexander Milas – an erstwhile archaeologist, music journalist and editor in-chief of Metal Hammer magazine.
Founding director of Twin V Ltd as well as the World Metal Congress.

Jerry is a fellow of the British Interplanetary Society.

Mathematician & theoretical particle physicist – based at Imperial College London.
A contestant on the BBC’s ‘Astronauts: Do You Have What it Takes?’ programme – She was selected from from over 3,500 applicants to take part and undertake tests similar to those used in the astronaut selection at major space agencies.
Jackie has won multiple awards for her work!
She’s from Liverpool, UK.

Lois Huneycutt is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
She also an Administrator for the 19,000+ member Facebook group – Space Hipsters –
which celebrates the past, present and future of space exploration.  She helps coordinate Space Hipsters outreach and educational projects, including field trips, educational fundraising efforts and the annual prize given for the best book in the field of space history, exploration or astronomy.
