Speaker – Lois Huneycutt
Lois Huneycutt is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Missouri, Columbia.
She also an Administrator for the 19,000+ member Facebook group – Space Hipsters –
which celebrates the past, present and future of space exploration. She helps coordinate Space Hipsters outreach and educational projects, including field trips, educational fundraising efforts and the annual prize given for the best book in the field of space history, exploration or astronomy.
The 10 Minute Star Striking Facts series is an engaging online outreach project to inspire all.
On Monday each week, we will feature a different speaker with a fact of their choice.
